Gas
Gas is supplied in 3 kg and 12 kg.
SWA GA recommends that you only use 12 kg containers there is a safety risk with 3kg containers.

Bottled Water
Tap water is not suitable for drinking. Tap water should be boiled first.
It is recommended to drink bottled water available through most supermarkets. Dispensers (with and without cold/hot functions) are available for purchase at all electrical and general stores, and vary a lot in price and style.

People with house maid or driver usually get them to organize refill of gas and water. While you are getting started, SWA GA Department can help you to order. Someone needs to be home to receive and pay directly to the delivery boy. (No tipping required to delivery boy)

Setting Up Class - SWA
IT can support you with the following requests

· - Other/Miscellaneous - eg general such as request floor mat

Properties Department can support you with the following requests
· Maintenance – this includes
o Hanging things
o Extension cords
o Setting the AV Projector – pointing in the correct position
o Safety Issues
o Phone Extension Issues
o Minor Maintenance – eg changing light bulbs, small repairs
Setting Up Class – JWA
· All requests through Evelyn - JWA Reception – she will direct to correct person
Setting up Home (SWA and JWA)
To arrange, send Helpdesk ticket to GA, Properties or IT as follows
IT can support you with the following requests
· - Purchasing personal IT items – eg hard drive, back up etc
· - Setting up Internet
· - Setting up a home wireless network
· - Setting up Cable TV
· - Setting Up home IP Phone
GA can support you with the following requests
· - Housing lease queries – (Eva)
· - Upgrade Electricity supply to house (Hardi)
Properties Department (Anung) can support you with the following requests
· - Maintanance and minor improvements (Independent Managed Housing)
o Properties will survey and provide a suggested solution and an estimated cost
o Teacher confirms by email or helpdesk ticket
o Properties advises schedule
o Teacher pays directly to Anung after work completed
o Costs
§ Worker charged at the following rates -
· Min Rp50,000 per worker (half day – less than 4 hours)
· 4-8 hours Rp 100,000 (full day)
§ Materials
· Actual cost plus tips/parking petrol if Properties staff is buying (receipt will be provided)
· Teacher self purchases and supplies
§ Note – Properties staff only do ‘Private Work’ after hours and weekends (subject to availability)
· - Maintenance (School Managed Housing) – request via Eva
· Note – any changes or improvements should be OK’d with landlord first – usually house is expected
to be put back in original condition at end of lease period. If in doubt ask Eva
